This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, schedule a visit, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office that controls the record or service.
Choose the Right Whiteside Office
Whiteside County uses separate contacts for general sheriff business, jail custody questions, and official records. Calling the right line saves time, but a phone answer is not a certified written record.

Use these routes according to the question:
- For a booking record or photograph, start with the county search and records guide, then contact WCSO Records or use the county FOIA process.
- For a reported warrant or post-release warrant question, use the Circuit Clerk and the Sheriff's Most Wanted court-check path.
- For a recent arrest or arrest-log request, ask WCSO Records for a defined date range because no verified public feed was found.
- For current county custody, release, or visitation, call the jail. The court docket supplies the later case outcome.
- For a Sterling, Rock Falls, or Morrison police incident report, contact that city department or municipal FOIA officer. WCSO holds the county booking record when county intake occurred.
- For a sentenced state prisoner's public status, use the Illinois Department of Corrections offender search. IDOC is not the county booking source.
- For federal prison or immigration detention, use the federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator. Those systems have different custody scopes.
